We also collect limited business contact information about professionals at companies that may benefit from our database engineering services. We obtain this information from publicly accessible sources, including company websites, public professional networking profiles, public business directories, and licensed third-party business data providers.

This information is limited to business contact details: name, job title, employer name, business email address, and publicly listed business phone number. We do not seek or collect contact details used in a personal or consumer capacity, special-category data, or other sensitive information about prospective business contacts.

3. Business Contact Data and Direct Marketing

Why we process it

We use business contact information to send a small number of relevant, individually addressed emails to professionals whose role relates to the operation, performance, or reliability of databases, introducing our database engineering and managed database services.

Our lawful basis

Where the UK or EU General Data Protection Regulation applies, we rely on our legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f)—specifically, our interest in promoting our business-to-business services to relevant professional contacts. We have assessed this interest against the rights and freedoms of the individuals concerned, and we contact people only in their professional capacity, about services relevant to their stated role, using business rather than personal contact details.

How to stop receiving these emails

You have an absolute right to object to direct marketing at any time, and we will act on it without question. You can:

• reply to any email from us with the word "no" or "remove";
• use the unsubscribe link in the email header displayed by your email client; or
• email privacy@jusdb.com asking to be removed.

We will suppress your details within 5 business days and will not contact you again for direct marketing. We retain a minimal record of your email address on a suppression list solely to ensure we do not contact you for direct marketing in future. This record is required to honour your objection and cannot itself be opted out of.

How long we keep it

Business contact data for prospects who do not respond is deleted within 12 months of collection. Data for prospects who ask not to be contacted is moved to our suppression list and retained only for that purpose.

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties without your consent, except as described in this policy. We may share information:

We use the following service providers to operate our business communications. Each processes data only on our instructions and under a written data processing agreement:

• Instantly.ai—email outreach platform, used to send and manage business correspondence.
• Google Workspace—email hosting and delivery infrastructure.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services and fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to complain to your national supervisory authority. In the UK, this is the Information Commissioner's Office. In India, you may raise concerns through the Data Protection Board of India under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, when its complaint mechanism is available.

8. International Data Transfers

JUSDB TECHNOLOGIES PVT LTD is established in India, and information you provide is processed in India and in the countries where our service providers operate.

Where we process personal data relating to individuals in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, that data is transferred to India. India is not currently the subject of a European Commission adequacy decision. We therefore rely on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum where applicable, as the safeguards for these transfers.
